Support people in your corner

If you have loyal and supportive people in your corner, kindly don’t take them for granted. In life, we all need committed individuals who are willing to stand by us through thick and thin.

One way to destroy good relationships is by positioning yourself as the “taker” or “receiver.” This is a selfish characteristic.

The truth is, we all encounter selfish people, and it takes discernment to identify them and wisdom to deal with them effectively.

Selfish people are often indifferent to your state, as long as they get what they want. The hallmark of selfishness is its disregard for the harm it causes or who gets wounded in the process; the primary focus is on obtaining their desires. They’re always positioned to take or receive but find it challenging to give.

Unfortunately, they may masquerade as allies or loyal supporters as long as their interests are being served.
